| Introduction | I am a licensed practicing physical therapist with significant interest and expertise in the areas of orthopedic, neurology and occupational health physical therapy. On a daily bases, I see patients with musculo-skeletal(MSDs) pain, struggling with function and an inefficient workers-compensation system, at large. My goal is both to educate and empower the patient, worker, and employers on the most effective, fair, and legal solutions to addressing pain, function, work demands and effective RTW programs, free of abuse and over utilization of benefits. This blog is geared to empower the online community on MSDs, and overuse injury syndromes at the work place. Also, It is my goal to reach out to key decision makers in the workers-compensation industry; seriously considering development of comprehensive and cost effective solutions to improving the system without compromising workers health nor the employer's legal rights, and benefits to employees. As such, key discussions are geared on effective leadership, responsibility, process optimization, accountability and quality management of work injuries. worker. |
