| Introduction | I write to interpret, to approximate, not to create. I write to share the abstract that is life. The journey that is supposed to be. The ups and downs of monotony. I have no message of my own, no slogan, and no dictum. I feel therefore this. I do not understand nature that well, but I try and that's why I am a physicist. I understand people even less, except for one or two, that's why I write. I try to write about those things and feelings that are humbling, unforgettable, but intensely personal. I do not mean to reach out, may be in. I realize at the same time that the boundary between the two is often diffused and vague. I am always out of place where ever I go, hence "outofplaces." |
