Click image then "view full size."] Embarrassing to admit, but I learned something never known about myself when I looked at the Rorschachs and felt my interpretations. Clients usually see two bears giving "high five's." I see the saddest man in the world. Those eyes are so heavy and shut with grief, it is indescribable. The clogging thick beard is the man's suffocation in tragedy. I found that I see evil and fearsomeness in each inkblot. § My counselor’s license is based on a Master’s not a doctoral-level education. Add sixty-plus years though, lots of books and clients, decades of my and others’ neuroses, a constantly evolving and distilling dialectic of ignorance and comprehension, a perverse tendency to undermine all self-soothing fakery in myself, and you get someone with a less-is-more attitude.
