You have a red jar of cedar chips. Why do moths miss the forest?
Because the jar is only tinted with red, and it gives the cedar chips this beautiful ruddy glow that reminds the moths of the way light use to filter through the forest after a fire near sunset, when the sun touched the horizon and thew it's beams through the branches and cast crosshatches of bright and dark red all over the tree trunks and forest floor.
