| Introduction | Calgary born-raised in Bowness with mom, dad & 4 brothers. I went to Sunday school till 13 yrs; church closed. At 15/16 yrs, started experimenting with cigarettes, pot, hash, weed oil & some acid. It was fun at first but, in short time no peace for me or my friends. Remembered how God touched me as child in Sunday School. Started reading Bible & found I was not right with God. Was living common-law, married at 21. Soon (through friend) went to Truth Church. Got baptized in Jesus name for the Remission of my sins received Gods spirit as mentioned in the book of Acts - Bible. Did not want to change all so went to another church who believed in what I liked. Thank God for his people…My friend (at Truth Church) kept phoning me – I argued about Truth Church’s beliefs with Bible. Read farther down and lo & behold they were right!! My eldest was born, went back to that church. Discovered ALL Gods word was preached by my pastor. I have been there 28 years (NEVER been sorry)! God’s ALWAYS with me in my downfalls and lowest moments! He’s totally exceeded ALL drugs and many forms of entertainment of the past with his patience, love, joy & peace. There’s NO ONE like JESUS!!! |
