| Introduction | I love telling and writing stories about things that have happened to me in real life or people I have encountered along the way. I would like to say I'm the June Cleaver-type of lady, but there are definitely adjustments I've made to be a 2000's woman! I began writing poetry and short stories when I was a little girl. As you can imagine, essay questions were always my favorite given a test to do in school. Erma Bombeck, another Buckeye, is one of my heroes! I am a mom, wife, and work part-time in a gourmet grocery store in the deli. Needless to say, strangers and friends alike who are "walking stories" seem to seek me out either deliberately or by accident. That's how I get my adrenaline rush. I love it! As for my name, Celtic Contessa?? I am a member of the Red Hat Society, and this is my "royal name"! |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
I don't worry about drowning, however, I do think about others who have drowned when I am down there.
