Introduction	I am Melanie, wife to Randy, and mother to FIVE cute, wild, rowdy little men. My motto is work hard, play harder, and live in the moment! I started this blog when we moved to Okinawa Japan and after living through the tragedies of losing my sister and mom I realized that writing was therapeutic so I've kept writing. Now this blog is a way of documenting our lives because hello, like I have time to scrapbook! I know that life is beautiful and precious despite the uncertainty of the next adventure down the road and I want to remember the small moments that will be forgotten if I don't share them. We are from Utah by way of Boston, D.C., Okinawa Japan, Seattle, Rhode Island, and finally Washington state forever.
