| Introduction | I can't keep my eyes off of the sky and I'll pick a stormy sky over a perfectly blue one any day. I don't appreciate art that I can figure out right away and nature is where I feel closest to God. My relationship with God is my highest priority and knowing His character is my greatest passion. I could be convinced to do just about anything if bribed with bleu cheese, french bread and a dry red wine. Once I leave city limits I realize that I haven't breathed deeply in a very long time. I think winter in Minnesota is the best season. I don't believe God ever intended humans to live lives apart from coffee. I consider digging in my garden the perfect introverted activity and breakfast is the most sacred part of my day. I'm fascinated by cultures and nations and long for the redemption of creation. I believe that mankind are "glorious ruins", bearing the imprint of the Creator and objects of His relentless love and grace. |
