Introduction First experience with minis was some fantasy collectors box my cousins had. Years later I saw a few in my local newsagency and picked up my first pack of metal skellies from Fantasy Lords, then a pack of 3 barbarians, 2 citadel dwarves, 2 citadel zombies and a bloodbowl skaven. I remember drooling at the Goblobber box, the Leadbelcher and the Skullsmasher - but I could never afford them. I used to read White Dwarf in newsagencies and purchased the GW Demon Slayer dwarf which got me into collecting the dwarf army. Years later in 95, I picked up 3rd ed, and the 2 Realms of Chaos books. They were old and used and falling apart a bit, but I still have them and use them often. With many friends in and out of the game, I got to paint a lot and was commissioned to paint an entire Dark Elf army, banners and all. I'm so sad I don't have any photos. Through many bargain basements, garage sales and friendly gifts of Heroquest and Battlemasters box set, I have acquired way too many models for the average person, but at least it's all Fantasy and no 40K - until I got into Necromunda...
