| Introduction | My name is Hannah Moore and I am a craft-loving Dane living in the US. I crochet, felt, knit, make Fimo clay figures and much more. Oh yeah, and then I blog about it. I also love spotting squirrels and birds in my yard, working on my blog and webpage, and coming up with new projects to make. My favorite meal is breakfast and I love spending hours and hours at cafés, sipping a caramel latte and people-watch. I am in America because I fell in love with Josh, to whom I recently got married. He is the reason I decided to move across the atlantic and he is also my main source of energy and inspiration. |
| Interests | knitting, crocheting, needle felting, photography (wish I had a good camera), occasionally drawing, cats/dogs/squirrels/farm animals, food, web page design... |
| Favorite movies | Last good movie I watched: The King's Speech. I rarely remember movies, so often I can have the joy of watching the same movie a couple of times. I like cartoons a lot. All the Hayao Miyazaki cartoons I have watched so far, have been great and there is a Danish cartoon that I really wish had been translated to english. It is called "Fuglekrigen i Kanøfleskoven" (The bird war in the Kanøfle forest"). I also love less artistic cartoons such as Finding Nemo and Ice Age. In terms of actual movies, I loved Amélie and then I enjoy science fiction movies like the 5th element and the Matrix. Every now and then I also enjoy a serious movie, but I usually feel like there is enough seriousness around in real life. However, I have to admit that movies like "The color purple", "Schindler's List" and the Danish movie "Drømmen" ("The Dream") were great too. Oh, there are so many great movies. These were just the ones that popped into my head right now. |
| Favorite music | Stacey Kent, Röyksopp, Moloko. Lately I have been listening to a lot of jazz, the easy listening kind of jazz. |
| Favorite books | I like children's books. Some of my favorites are the Harry Potter series, The Children of Noisy Town (Alle vi børn i Bulderby), a Danish book called Erik menneskesøn (Erik, son of man) and The Never Ending Story. When it comes to grown up books, it is very random. I really enjoyed Nelson Mandela's self biography, The pillars of the Earth, Angels & Demons and The Girl with the dragon tattoo. |
Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
You have to start on the very top of the apple, going very slowly, working in a spiral and making sure not to let the peel become too thin. I think I have only succeeded in doing this once in my life.
