| Introduction | I am a 45-year-old mom and grandma. I have been living with M.S. for almost 20 years. I have had a lot of obstacles in my life, but I have learned to roll with the punches. In fact, my son and I made up a saying long ago: "Two positive for every negative". That meant that every time we said or thought about something negative, we had to think about two positive things. That was a wonderful saying to live by and it helped us get through a lot of hard times. I believe you have to suffer through the rain to get the rainbow. The rainbow is definitely worth waiting for. |
| Interests | I love writing. However, my first love is my family. I love getting together with my sons and my grand-daughters. I also love spending time with husband. We love go boating and flying in his powered parachute. When I get together with my parents and my brothers, I always have a good time too. My little Yorkie is the newest addition to our family. Her name is Angel and she has definitely been an angel for me. She came along at a great time, to help me deal with the empty nest syndrome, since my youngest son just moved out. |
| Favorite movies | I am a big Lifetime Movie lover. I feel that they portray strong women who endure tough times, yet they conquer in the end. They are brave and courageous. I feel that I could almost write one myself. |
| Favorite music | I love almost every kind of music. However, old-time rock-n-roll is my favorite - you know: Def Leppard, Van Halen, Sammy Haggar and of course Aerosmith. |
| Favorite books | I love to read the Bible and books that help with studying the Bible. I really like to know what I am reading and I like to find the meaning of it. I am really interested in the hidden messages that He has for us. I also love to read poetry. I like all of it, but I am a big fan of the kind of poetry that rhymes. (I guess, because that's how I write.) |
