| Introduction | Kate is a wife, mom and full-time teacher. Ever since Kate got her first job (back when she was in the 7th grade), she has worked with children- babysitting, nannying, working in a daycare and currently, teaching second graders. Nothing is more fulfilling to Kate than watching children learn and grow. Seeing children's eyes fill with wonder as they discover something for the first time (or even for the 100th time, as is the case with many babies) is her greatest pleasure! Motherhood has intensified Kate's passion for children. Her life experiences certainly helped prepare her for becoming a mommy, but without a doubt, she learned a tremendous amount more as her daughter Leah grew. Kate's desire now is to share some of what she has learned so that other mom's can benefit from her experiences. By no means does Kate know it all. and certainly she has learned that sharing ideas with other moms and hearing how other parents handle certain situations has helped her.
