| Introduction | I was forced into early retirement in 1993. My wife was diagnosed with M.S in 1990 and her condition made it necessary to reduce my hours at work to care for her. My employers made it difficult for me, so I decided that they didn't deserve me working for them. Fortunately, I was able to retire, and no regrets. My wife died at the end of 2008. Much loved, and sadly, much missed. I am at that age where I know all I need to know, but can't always remember it. (Mark Twain)....
