| Introduction | I am a thirty-nine-year-old teacher. I have been married to my husband for seventeen years and our son is twenty. I worry about our world and try to make it better, despite being occasionally overwhelmed. I am horribly afraid of failure and therefore don't try as hard as I should. At least that way, if I fail, I can always console myself with the idea that I wasn't really trying anyway. I make decisions, but lack organization or follow-through. I plan to work on all of those things in my life and write about the results, or lack thereof, in this blog (though it is apparent that I've been unsuccessful, judging by the number of posts). |
