Introduction A self-proclaimed romantic realist and a daydream believer, I have been taking photographs for many years, having grown up with a darkroom in my grandmother’s basement and a father that took amazing photographs and slides of his travels throughout the U.S. About eleven - twelve years ago, I began experimenting with self-portraiture and never viewed photography the same again. I returned to film almost ten years ago. I am completely self-taught; I feel like every shoot is another lesson and/or experiment. I photograph almost anything. But I especially love architectural details, quirky scenes, retro and vintage signs and things. And nature. So yes, I do flower shots, but not only. I shoot 120, 35mm, and instant film, digitally, and with my iPhone. I use natural light or what’s available 95% of the time. I have had solo exhibitions in Chicago and online at *****contrasted gallery, in addition to having my work chosen by iPhoneographyCentral.com and theappwhisperer.com in their online galleries. Most recently, a group exhibit (all women) at Museo a Cielo aperto di Camo in Camo, Italy ran from March 25 through April 25, 2017.
