About me

IntroductionI am a Junior at Barnard College. Originally I’m from Ann Arbor, Michigan (Go Blue!). I am majoring in History with a concentration in Jewish History. I am also Pre-med. I work as a BSAR (Barnard Student Admissions Representative), and my favorite part of being a BSAR is giving tours to prospective students. I also am a member of Peer Health Exchange, organization which trains college students to teach health to 9th graders whose schools do not provide such a course. Specifically, I teach a 45 minute class on Abusive Relationships. On Fridays I go to different New York Public Schools to teach. Additionally, I conduct research in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. I interview patients who were hospitalized for Subarrachoid Hemorrages (SAH) and have been released from the NICU to help assess their recovery. I also member of a working group for Barnard’s Reaccreditation process. My role is to offer a student perspective to my working group, which is evaluating the Barnard Administration’s effectiveness in fulfilling the Barnard’s mission. In my free time I most enjoy spending time with my friends and exploring the city.
