Introduction Born into a typical suburban family, I was blessed with many cookies, ice cream sundaes, and boxes of Kraft Mac&Cheese. Unfortunately, I was also plagued with an almost constant tummy ache. When doctors couldn't figure out the cause, I turned to the always trusty Tums and continued on until my senior year in high school when my doctor suggested I go without dairy because I appeared to have an intolerance to lactose. So I switched to soy milk and sorbet and that seemed to ease my tummy troubles, but not completely. About 3 years later I am a junior in college and find myself with a new diagnosis: a soy and gluten allergy. So with a heavy heart and a gluten/dairy/soy allergy combo, I gave up my favorite breads, cookies, and ice cream, and decided to set out to find any delicious tummy friendly meals and recipes I could then share with anyone interested who also finds issues between their tummies and their foods.
