Introduction | I am a transgender individual. I live in rural Maine, and have spent most of my time raising kids, maintaining a home, selling fireworks, and pondering the wonderful and weird in this life. I earned a B.A. in English & Music in 2002, as well as an M.A. in Theology with a concentration in Ethics in 2007. I live with insulin dependent diabetes and a Beast of Mental Illness that manifests itself most prominently in the form of Bipolar 1 Disorder. There are other components to my mental health, but that's the major one. I live life with a radical and unconditional love of neighbor, no matter how disparate we may be. I am grateful for the love and support of my wife of over 20 years, and her willingness to stay with me on this journey. |
