| Introduction | I guess the most important thing I can say about myself is that I try to live my life in gratitude, thankful that I got another chance to get it right. Every day is a blessing, no matter what you might be going through, and every moment is an opportunity to become more than you were a moment ago. I try to live in the here and now, although that can sometimes be a big challenge, especially when I screw up and begin obsessing over my perceived mistake. I try to see the good in all people, no matter how many times they may disappoint. I do my best not to sweat the small stuff, but I will defend what I believe to be true with great dedication and passion. That doesn't mean, however, that I'm closed to differing opinions. Quite the contrary; I look for truth whenever and wherever I can find it, but understand that truth is dynamic and not static. I mean, that it is very much consistent with my state of consciousness, and I'm growing everyday. I fight for the people that I love to the end, but I will only do so in accordance to their wishes, because I respect their space too much to decide things for them. I’m just happy to be here, and thankful for another day. |
