| Introduction | I am beginning my fourteenth year in the classroom and have taught grades six through eleven. I have been married to a wonderful, Godly man for thirty-six years and am the mother of two beautiful, grown daughters. Also, I am the grandmother of adorable twins, Jaye and Lyla. Middle school is my favorite, and seventh grade is what I love. All classrooms in my school are equipped with SmartBoards which opens up additional opportunities for student learning. Our system's "BYOD" policy has challenged us to develop lessons that further engage our students. Needless to say, I am always trying to learn new ways to teach my subject content.
