The Charming Cinemaphile: Just A Mom Who Loves Movies

About me

Introduction	I truly love movies. There was a time in my life pre-covid where I would attend 2-3 advance screenings a week. As a family of 6, we would enjoy having movie nights, both at home and at the theater. We once went to a midnight showing of a Harry Potter movie to celebrate my youngest son's birthday. (midnight showings are unfortunately long gone). My children are adults now, and we still enjoy our family movie nights. I decided to start this movie blog because I feel there is a voice missing In the world of movie blogging and reviewing. There is a lack of diversity. It seems to me this industry is dominated by white men. I hope to be that voice. The voice of a woman, the voice of a Black woman, the voice of a mom, the voice of a Black mom. I look forward to being that voice. You should know: in my reviews I will never reveal plot or go into details that would spoil a movie for you. Personally, I walk into most movies without knowing anything. I never watch trailers (unless they're forced on me while watching a live sporting event) because I think they usually reveal too much about the movie. Who can relate? With that being said, let's get to my reviews!
