| Interests | Hi! My name is Jamie and I am a photographer based out of Houston, TX. I recently moved to Texas from southern California. Photography has always been a passion of mine and over the past couple of years I have dedicated myself to becoming the best photographer I can be! I was raised and still reside in Orange County, CA. I attended Arizona State University where I earned a degree in Education. For the past 6 years I worked during the day as a Pre-K teacher in Newport Beach. Working as a teacher, I was constantly photographing my students. Their parents loved the photos and asked to hire me and that is what truly inspired me to turn my love of photography into a new career. Given my love for kids, I started out doing newborn and child portraits. I have since branched out to include family sessions, engagements and weddings! I got married this year and as I looked for a photographer for my own engagement session and wedding, I have learned how important it is to find someone who understands and is sensitive to each individual bride's personality and expectations. In addition to photography, my hobbies include traveling, baking, watching sports, shopping and being crafty. I am slightly a perfectionist and love to stay busy.
