Introduction	I've been around under a lot of good teaching. Those who have led several churches I've attended included Jason Whalen, Ron Norman, Gary Hamburger, Bill Hamel, Ray Sanford. Each of these men along with the many, many others I've listened to on the radio and other means helped to build a body of knowledge that has proved useful. What was missing, at least for me and not due to any lacking in the teaching I've sat under, was an intimate love life with Abba. Six years ago, when I hit a wall, He became intimate and now I suppose one would say I've become more of a mystic than anything else. I know the term "mystic" puts some folk off. I am okay with that. I don't expect anyone else to follow the steps I've walked but without an embracing of the mystery of Abba, I don't think we really "get" Him. I do invite others to let themselves fall in love with Him, much like we do with another human being. I do invite others to stop, be still and listen to His still, small voice that still speaks into the heart of every Christ-follower, whether they know it or not.
