| Introduction | I’m 11,000 miles from home. Don’t tell my mom but you can’t get much further. Born and bred in middle America, I now live in the southwest corner of Australia in one of the world’s most isolated cities. During high school I fell in love with the foreign exchange student from Down Under. Twelve years later we finally placed ourselves permanently on the same continent - not Australia or North America but in Surrey, England. Now we have our feet firmly planted on the shores of the Indian Ocean in Perth, Western Australia. For the time being at least. |
