| Introduction | I'm Shinobu, (a.k.a. Jane) a Japanese-Australian mama. My husband Makoto is also from Japan. While we live in Australia, we can't live without Japanese food, so our kitchen is our "little Japan". We love having Japanese dinner parties with our friends and I was often asked for advice on Japanese cooking. So eventually this is what we came up with - Little Japan Mama. Since I learnt to cook mostly from my Japanese mother, who learnt from her mother, who learnt from the Mama ancestors, I give credit to all the Mamas who came before me. ^_^ My other inspiration is the thousands of user-shared recipes on cookpad.com, Japan's number 1 recipe website.
