| Introduction | I am a male in my early 40s. At one point early in my life, I was extremely career focused and driven ... witness the absurd number of college and post-graduate degrees that I obtained. I was driven for wealth and success! I needed to be the best! But, perhaps due to my divorce 5 years ago, I have a new direction in my life -- a different tack. I have slowed down considerably, and moved out to the lake, to enjoy the simple pleasures in life (and to raise my daughters). I work a lot less, earn a lot more, and go sailing frequently on the lake. And I am much, much happier... I describe myself as a 6' 1" tall, physically fit man in my early-40s. In many ways, women often (initially) seem to think I am a great catch -- until they get to know me ... ;-) |
