| Introduction | I have worked in the Child Development field for over 30 years starting out as a Family Child Care provider. In center based group care environments I has served as an aide, teacher and director in both nonprofit and for-profit programs. I also worked with children with special needs as an education interventionist and behavioral consultant in a behavioral medicine clinic. I have helped train new professionals in this field for 20 years at universities and community colleges. I have initiated and obtained accreditation through NAEYC at centers. I also served as an accreditation volunteer validator for 15 years. |
