Introduction	In 2001 I quit my job, sold my house, car and most of my belongings and moved to Africa where I wrote my first book entitled "Domestic Departures, A Midlife Crisis Safari". I now have a two more books; "Traveling Africa, A Woman's Guide"; and "Africa, Through My Mother's Eyes". All three are available to download onto your Kindle or Kindle app and to order a physical copy. I have now traveled fifteen countries in Africa and go back whenever I can. One might say I am addicted to Africa and all things Africa!
Interests	Writing, reading and traveling... Africa specifically but I do go other places from time to time.
Favorite Movies	Out of Africa - by far and I have seen it many times and visited Karen Blixen's home in Nairobi.
Favorite Books	The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay, Long Walk to Freedon - The biography of Nelson Mandela, Poisenwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, The Importance of Living - an old book by a Chinese pholosopher Lin Yutang, Isak Denesen's Letters From Africa (aka Karen Blixon), West with the Night by Beryl Markum and so may more
