| Introduction | I started with art later in life when I signed up for a drawing class at the local junior college. After learning some basics in drawing, I tried both watercolor and acrylic painting, but I knew I had found my niche when I started painting in oil. Artists I have studied with are Peggi Kroll Roberts, Robin Hall and Catherine Grawin. My combined love of travel and my passion for painting have taken me to Monhegan Island, Maine; Sitges, Spain; Aix en Provence, France; and Giverny, France (where I painted in Monet's Garden). Painting has enriched my life is many ways, especially with all of the special people I have met and friendships I have formed through art. I am blessed to be able to pursue my passion of painting, to have interesting experiences and to meet new and wonderful people. |
