Introduction	My name is Allison Hendrickson, and Ali Eats was inspired by my love affair with food and my passion for writing. I grew up in Ohio, went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and moved to Chicago in the Fall of 2003. I wrote for a restaurant magazine for several years but stopped when my day job at an advertising agency prevented me from leaving a desk before 8pm. I am still in the advertising world, but my hope is to one day work full time in the world of farmers markets, herbs and spices, colorful Le Creuset kitchenware, french press coffee and my mom's cookie recipes.
