| Introduction | I'm a teacher. I teach Culinary Arts (Hospitality & Tourism) in high school - No it’s not Home Ec! LOL - This blog is about all the great things I see in teens today, the backdrop being my classroom kitchen, and all the amazing things that my students do every day. If you're a young adult, a parent, a teacher or someone interested in cooking and lessons that the everyday life gives us, then this forum is for you. It’s about gratitude, positivity, laughter and community. I'll share stories, anecdotes, recipes, and little treasures that I come across in life and work, with the goal of highlighting the great achievements of our teens today, proving that they are not just about phones and texting. What's featured here is work done by my students. (Note: As I am bound by the rules of Privacy, I will not give names or post pics of students’ faces. This blog is about their amazing talents and gifts.) |
