Introduction	A one-time Ivy League academic (writer, editor, English teacher) and aspiring opera singer, I am now an accidental stay-at-home military spouse, raising three southern belles. I still sing (more than “Wheels on the Bus”); I still write (more than notes to the teacher); sometimes I even still edit (more than my husband’s PowerPoint slides).
