| Introduction | I am 48 yrs old and have been married 30 yrs. I have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. In 2003 I was diagnosed with MS. This blog was created to let people know what it is like living with ms. Multiple sclerosis is a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. The symptoms range from weakness, blurred vision, tingling, thinking problems, and muscle stiffness. There is no cure for ms, but instead treatment of symptoms are the only answer. I am on the newest drug for ms, gilenya. Gilenya is to slow the progression of the disease. And yes, I am and always will be a Louisiana girl. |
