| Introduction | I love to fly-fish, started about two years ago after about a 10 year hiatus from all fishing. I pay for said fly-fishing with a corporate job that I actually enjoy- most of the time. My home waters are the Sierras and Cascades, I travel in my truck Joe and can't call one piece of water or one type of fish my favorite, its like choosing which is your favorite child. My first day out fly-fishing I landed a 4lb Brown on the Little Truckee, my first day out Striper fishing we had 40 fish in the boat, my first day Steelheading we had 14 on and landed 7- these were days with guides but still pretty incredible. I never kill my fish, catch and release only- no barbed hooks, so no fish were injured in these shots, they pop right back into the water. |
