| Introduction | I'm a mother and writer who lives in the hills outside Melbourne, Australia. I've been writing since I was 10 but am only just starting to finish stories and follow through with ideas now - motherhood will do that to a person. At the moment in your life when you have the least amount of time suddenly your true desires and goals kick in - for me it's writing. I'm trying to create a little magic from the guts of everyday mamahood. Some days it beats you down - but there are jewels being handed to you constantly. That's how I'm trying to see this crazy ride anyway. What makes me tick is the way a forest breathes after it rains, travelling, drinking mochas on cold days and apple cider on hot days, old books, concocting delicious desserts, The Iron Chef, smooches from both my boys and finding cheap fairy tale collections in secondhand shops. |
