Introduction Annette was born in 1970, when computer floppy discs were invented, bar codes were introduced, the first Earth Day was celebrated and 18 year olds were given the right to vote in federal elections. She spent her childhood in Texas, her adolescence in Tennessee and her young adulthood in Florida and Alabama. When asked where she is from, she is often quoted as saying, "I am a Southern Belle, but I don't jingle when I walk." Although Annette published her first poem at the age of 17, she has had a passion for learning, growing and poetry her whole life. Her life's lesson is to "Look. Listen. Love. Laugh. Learn." In her local community in Colorado (where she currently resides), she can often be found at a park, art gallery, museum, dinner theater, local cafe, or book store. Her favorite places, however, are in the beauty of nature by waterfalls, gurgling streams, ponds, lakes, and rivers. She is inspired by forests, mountains, blue skies, and gentle breezes. Annette also volunteers for and supports a number of causes.
Interests In her spare time, she enjoys the simple things in life: walks in nature, flying kites, picnics in the park, aimless drives and road trips exploring new places, watching sunsets, nice conversations by moonlight, and stargazing. However, nothing brings her more joy than simply spending time with her family and writing. Both of which she will be doing it until she takes her last breath.
Favorite Movies Annette loves movies. Before streaming services, she had over 500 movies in her collection.
Favorite Music Annette really likes to experiment with her music. She is a radio surfer and enjoys Pandora for it's musical variety.
Favorite Books Some of her favorite types of books are inspirational, quotation and poetry books, especially since she is a published poet herself.
