Introduction	I am an entrepreneur that strongly believes in the blue ocean/red ocean business strategy. Simply put, red ocean is the existing marketplace where businesses compete with a defined set of rules; the way things are. Blue ocean is a new marketplace where the services or products are new, game changing and uncontested. I live for blue ocean. My experience in four businesses over 20 years I helped create (three successfully) gives me the freedom to roam this ocean in search of new ideas business, friends and horizons. My background is in engineering, initially as an Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer and Project Manager, and later as a Director and Managing Director. Project and organisational management in the engineering of resources sector assets primarily in the oil and gas, mining and minerals and energy is my speciality in this very red ocean.
