| Introduction | I'm never comfortable with writing a bio piece about myself. There's not a whole lot out of the ordinary about me. I'm a Virgo, married, and mother to two tuxedo cats with a lot of character. I was a teacher for 18 years, then moved into the computer industry before I finally threw it all over the fence almost ten years ago to devote all my time to miniatures. Before I discovered miniatures, I was a textile artist. Miniatures turned my art world upside down and became an obsession. For me, creating is a journey. I never really know where I'm going to end up when I start a new piece, but I know that the trip is going to be wonderful. It's all about the journey and the things we experience along the way. |
