Introduction	I was born in the US to an Austrian mother and a German/Austrian father. I was always a lover of nature and animals but my vision for a kinder, gentler world has become more intense and refined as an adult. I see that in every step we make choices, choices that can hurt or benefit others. I think people should respect all forms of life, should resist material excess, and be willing to sacrifice for the well being of others. Nonviolence, vegetarianism, compassion... gentle living.
Interests	Human social issues, environment, animal rights, and vegetarian lifestyle issues.
Favorite movies	Nothing scary! I confess to loving Bollywood movies.
Favorite music	Ethnic, especially Indian and from the Middle East.
Favorite books	The Life of Pi, What The Body Remembers, Kite Runner, Poisonwood Bible.
