| Introduction | I'm a 26 year old guy from Iowa making my way in the world. I have a job and a life, and I'm working to make both the best they can be. With this blog, I hope to not only catalog my own progress throughout my upcoming home renovation, but hopefully help other people do the same...or at least give folks something fun to look at while they're avoiding their own projects. I've been dreaming of this renovation for about 10 years, so there is some serious excitement and enthusiasm ready to be let loose! I think of myself as being pretty traditional when it comes to most things (someday, I'd like a picket fence in front of this little house..) but I've got a hippie vein that runs pretty deep. After the big, nasty projects have come to a close, I'd like to use this as a forum for all my foodie, organic garden experimentation. I want to learn as much as I can during this process, and I thought I'd bring you along for the ride. So. I look forward to joining the blogging world - and I hope you think I make a positive contribution to it. If I don't, well...crap.. |
