| Introduction | THE HOTEL CLOSED PERMANENTLY ON 1/1/2015. For the last nine years before it closed, I had been working as the front desk manager and night auditor at Quality Inn at General Lee's Headquarters which was located on the Gettysburg battlefield. Having studied the Battle of Gettysburg for the past 25 years, I was fully aware of the magnitude of the horrific fighting which occurred on the property. I also knew there were many real, paranormal occurrences happening on the Gettysburg battlefield, as I have experienced hundreds myself. What I did not expect was those same civil war spirit soldiers to visit the hotel so often or to hear so many accounts from unsuspecting guests of spiritual activity. I never thought they would alert me to their presence in so many creative ways or for there to be so much activity in the hotel. I started documenting the activity several years ago and continued to document it to the very last day of the hotel's operation. Now that I am retired, I will be adding more of what occurred during those years. These are my personal experiences, along with a few of my co-workers, as well as many guests. So, stay tuned! |
