Introduction	I've been teaching middle school for about 25 years. Although my specialty this year is language arts, I'm also certified to teach social studies, math, high school English, and elementary school. I love teaching middle school for so many reasons. First, it's the kids; they keep me young and on my toes. Next, it's the structure of a middle school; it allows me to explore a wide variety of topics and activities every single day. Third, I'm a little crazy, but no one notices in middle school. It's the norm.
