| Introduction | I'm a wife, mother, grandmother. I'm the adult child of an alcoholic, but I'm not all about that; that said, I emerged from a poignant childhood with a strong sense of hope and gratitude for all the gifts in my life. Thanks to my older siblings, I KNEW life could be good, and, while there have been hard times, the good times are such a joy! I don't take these gifts of family, friends and activities for granted, but cherish each moment, and each person I meet in my journey. Although I'm an unwavering optimist, two spinal surgeries in one year shook my core a bit, as well as my physical being. After the pity party and tears subsided some, I dusted myself off, with the help of family and friends, and I'm moving on, through two gifts I love to share - writing and photography. Welcome to my world! My favorite quote is, "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans." |

Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?
Banana peel...it can dry out, and become thin enough to work with. A wet sock's too heavy to use, and, when it dries, it's too soft...besides, I'm not crazy about the brand name..."Soaring Socks"
