Introduction	I'm Heather. I met my darling husband on the Rio Dulce in Guatemala 16 years ago. Since then, we have been busy making a home, growing a family, and tending a business (not necessarily in that order). I started this blog to chronicle the milestones as we adopted our youngest from Guatemala. Favorite books	The Surrendered Wife (Don't judge a book by its title -- this book is single handedly responsible for the outstanding quality of my marriage. My husband would agree. I highly recommend it for any wife who has lost confidence in her husband to be the man she fell in love with.)
