| Introduction | I am Elder Jens Jacob Simonsen- a native Greenlander, originally from Qaqortoq, Greenland. I moved to Denmark to study to become a maritime officer (a captain of a ship) On March 27, 2009, I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After about a year as a member, I found out that I would regret not going on a mission. I sent in my papers soon after and waited patiently for nine months before I came to America. I entered the Missionary Training Center on December 14,2010. I am now preparing to preach the Gospel in the Spanish language. On February 15, 2010 I will enter the mission field in Northern Utah and parts of Idaho and Wyoming. There I will continue to serve for two years in the Utah Ogden Mission. |
