Introduction	Born and raised in Soldotna, AK, I fell in with the wrong group of guys and began a reckless career of running and skiing. What started as an after-school ski program at Redoubt Elementary turned into an obsession to find my limit. I began racing at Soldotna Middle School where I found a group of friends with similar goals. The direction of a great coach began my success at Soldotna High with three State cross country team championships and a third place team finish at the State cross country ski championships. My career continued at the University of Alaska-Anchorage where I studied Biology and competed as a three-sport athlete. At UAA I was introduced to international skiing and running, which has motivated me to travel and race abroad as often as possible. I currently train and race with the Olympic Development training group at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage. I support my dreams and goals by working full-time at Skinny Raven Sports in Anchorage. I believe all opportunities in life require hard work.
