| Introduction | Hi, I'm Gina, almost 60, wife of a near saint, mother of 2, and grandmother of 1. I've been happily married to an almost perfect man (ain't they rare!!) for almost 30 years, having gotten it right the second time around! We are on our own now with both girls finally having moved on, one married and the other one still trying to find her way. In fact, we are starting to plan for our retirement - both socially and financially. I'm an electronic Scrap-kit junkie!! And I LOVE making cards! I do Hybrid Scrapbooking for myself and annual calendars and memory books for the family. I'm an OWH Alumni, and am supporting Ronald McDonald House and Cards For A Cause at Split Coast Stampers every month, and have even hosted myself a couple of times for favored charities. I'm also acknowledged throughout my organization for the Christmas Cards I send out every year. I'd found making the cards to be a fantastic form of therapy! and donating the fruits of my labors to the various Ronald McDonald Houses and Cards for a Cause charities are very satisfying. |

| Favorite Books | Bronte Sisters, Anything Stephen King, and more recently, i'm finding lots of enjoyment in YA dystopic series - they move fast, have great plots, not a lot of gratuitious language or sex, and are just flat out fun! And I've discovered paranormal romance...I enjoy how each author crafts and creates her world. The hot sexy thing doesn't hold a candle to what I have at home, so i'm not into them for the sex, and usually scan through those parts pretty quickly. I very much believe in the 'magic' that would create paranormal/immortals, but figure we've lost it over centuries and eons. |
