About me

Introduction	I'm a research scientist in maritime information and communication technology at MARINTEK in Trondheim, Norway. MARINTEK, the Norwegian Marine Technology Research Institute, does research, development and technical consulting in the maritime sector for industry and the public sector. The institute develops and verifies technological solutions for the shipping and maritime equipment industries and for offshore petroleum production. The last two years I have participated in several projects looking into communication challenges in the high north, especially related to safety at sea.
