Introduction	I am married to another dog advocate, Brian, and we have two rescued pit-bull mixes, Sasha and Sparky. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2001, at age 32, five days after returning home from our honeymoon. I am a Lifetime Television Breast Cancer Hero and the recipient of an Astra Zeneca Vision of Hope Award. I hold an M.B.A. in Health Care Administration, and have managed a breast health and cancer genetics programs at Riverside and Grant hospitals in Columbus. My current work is managing two research studies at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, including a national Patient Navigator Research Project and an NCI RO1 Colorectal screening project.
Interests	Columbus Blue Jackets, breast cancer research, reading, good food!!
Favorite movies	Beaches (yes, I know), Sliding Doors, A Think Called Love, ummm can you say chic flicks??
Favorite music	U2, Toad the Wet Sprocket, World Party, Maroon 5...basically music that is cool and important by hot looking guys
Favorite books	finishing up Twilight series
