Introduction The R.G.Ingersoll Renewal and Restoration Project seeks to renew Ingersoll's ideas, and restore this genuine patriot to the pantheon of great Americans. I discovered Robert G. Ingersoll in 2006. I quickly realized that he had something important to say, and knew how to say it. Colonel Bob Ingersoll was dispised by some, but he was respected by all. I believe that Ingersoll is America's greatest unknown treasure, and our richest untapped resource. He has been nearly eliminated from the narrative of American history by Christian historians. This must not stand. I determined to bring his lectures to life through performance. Thus, the Robert G. Ingersoll Renewal and Restoration Project was created as the vehicle to facilitate those performances, and more. I won the first annual Robert G. Ingersoll Oratory Contest held in Washington,D.C.. I have written an original first-person interpretation of Ingersoll as an historical character. "Colonel R.G. Ingersoll: Discussing Ingersoll," will debut 11 April 2010. Mr. Ingersoll deserves our attention and gratitude. Please join to help renew and restore honor and reputation to Colonel R.G. Ingersoll.
